Position OverviewOur client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of technologies and end users. This role will handle escalated issues, support enterprise systems, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable technology services.Top SkillsEndpoint Management: Device deployment, configuration, support, and compliance across enterprise environments.Identity & Access Management: User account administration, authentication support, access management, SSO, and MFA.Microsoft 365 Administration: End-user support, collaboration tools, licensing, and cloud-based productivity platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesResolve escalated technical issues involving hardware, software, operating systems, and cloud-based technologies.Serve as a point of escalation for complex support requests and provide technical guidance when needed.Support Microsoft 365 applications and related user account administration activities.Assist with identity and access management processes, including account setup, permissions, authentication, and access-related troubleshooting.Support endpoint management activities, including deployment, configuration, maintenance, and compliance monitoring.Coordinate hardware and software deployments while ensuring adherence to established standards.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management solutions, and identity management platforms.Strong understanding of enterprise technology support and end-user services.Experience working within a structured IT support or service management environment.Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Experience supporting device lifecycle management and security-focused practices.Additional QualificationsExperience contributing to projects, system implementations, or process improvements.Exposure to automation, scripting, or workflow optimization tools preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
